WHAT IS CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the Cannabis family of plants. A non-addictive substance, CBD is just one of over a hundred phytocannabinoids, which make up the plants chemical compounds. CBD naturally contains a long list of vitamins, nutrients, fatty acids, flavonoids, essential oils, terpenes, protein, and other minerals. We urge you to do your research on the scientific studies that have been constructed to show the many overall health benefits that can be provided.

WHY DOES IT WORK?

Did you know that our bodies have an endocannabinoid system? Just like the 11 other networks that help our bodies operate at their full potential, the ECS plays a great role in our health and wellness. There are cannabinoid receptors located throughout the body, including the central nervous system (and brain), and peripheral nervous system. The ECS promotes the state of homeostasis in the body when it is stimulated the way it should be. This allows the entire body to function like an orchestra. Again, we urge you to dive into your own research on how the ECS functions, and balances our overall health.

WHAT PRODUCT IS FOR ME?

There are many CBD products on the market. It is important to find quality products that are proven to have the purecy, and potency that they claim to contain. As with anything out there, steer clear of the junk. Find quality companies, with quality ingredients, and processes.

Full Spectrum is a term used to describe a finished product with the entire Cannabis plant profile still intact. The use of all the plants properties encourages what is commonly referred to as the “entourage effect.” This is when all the compounds are synergistically working together to achieve balance, and homeostasis within the body. Full Spectrum contains the legal amount of less than .3 % THC.

ISOLATE is the purest form of a compound. This is created by extracting the singular compound, and taking it away from its environment, and isolating it. Isolate contains 0% THC.

Broad Spectrum is a term used to describe a product that is basically in between Full Spectrum, and Isolate. Broad Spectrum products still contain all of the plant compounds, except THC.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE?

Unfortunately, because the FDA does not regulate supplemental products, we are unable to make medical claims of any kind. We are not medical providers, or advisors. For this reason, we encourage you to do your research. Find what works for you. It may take some trial and error, but stick with it.
